About Hacon

Originally from Dorset, I am now based in London and have followed up my studies with a working life in the environment sector.
My interest in photography developed many years ago from an interest in nature and spending as much time outdoors. Many of my earlier pictures were rubbish taken in my parent’s garden, ideal for learning the fundamental basics of exposure and composition. To this day my main interest is taking pictures of a variety of subjects from close to home, especially as time is in fairly short supply.
My main aim is to make pictures that are memorable and aesthetically pleasing, but also to provoke emotion, which will in due course benefit the longevity of that we so desperately need to preserve - Our Heritage.

Hacon currently uses Nikon digital cameras, Nikkor lenses and a Manfrotto tripod usually all slung into a LowePro Bag.

None of the images were digitally manipulated. Only minor adjustments and/or corrections were carried out, this is limited to fine tuning of exposure, color and tones.
